i-SME – Inclusive SMEs in Europe
Project partners from eight EU countries are committed to the common goal of not only encouraging SMEs to become more open to employing people with disabilities, but also to extending the practical tools and existing infrastructure for successful professional inclusion. The existing solutions will be carefully analysed and the best practices selected to be later presented in partner countries. New project on empowernment of PWD through engagement into social entrepreneurship
Starting a Disability Entrepreneurship Expert (DISENEX) project on empowerment of persons with disability through engagement into social entrepreneurship, the project consortium kicked off the project during the virtual conference on November 5, 2020. During the meeting the partners presented their organizations, teams and the scope of current activities related to the goals of the project.
Launch of online seminars on medicine featuring leading European specialists
At the end of May the first two online lectures from a series of webinars were held, organized as part of the Virtual Academy of Advanced Training in Medicine project. The lecturer, Professor Stefan Martin, is a German diabetologist, head of West German Center for Diabetes and Health (Westdeutsches Diabetes and und Gesundheitszentrum and nd Chief physician for Diabetology at the Association of Catholic Clinics in Dusseldorf.

Innovations in the organisation of stationary medical care in Germany
From 01.03. to 04.03. INTAMT held a seminar for the team of the Republican clinical hospital of Tatarstan Ministry of Health. The programme of a short, but a very intensive visit included familiarisation of leading specialists from the Republic of Tatarstan with such topics as organisation and management of surgical departments, equipment of integrated operating rooms, emergency departments in clinics of various categories, features of intensive care departments and many others.
Practice of Finnish school education
Teachers of Moscow schools – winners and finalists of the annual contest “Teacher of the Year” got an opportunity to get acquainted with the Finnish education by visiting educational institutions of different levels in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area in the last week of February 2020. The school visits, which included communication with both teachers and students, as well as attendance at several lessons on various subjects, contributed to the understanding among Moscow colleagues of the notorious “Finnish education system”.
Inclusion Workshops in 4 countries
From 10 to 16 December 2019, the INTAMT Academy organised four workshops as part of the DISEMEX+East project to promote the professional inclusion of people with disabilities in four countries: Armenia (Yerevan), Georgia (Tbilisi), Russia (Ekaterinburg) and Ukraine (Kyiv). The project is co-financed by the Federal Foreign Office under the programme of development of a cooperation with the civil society in the Eastern Partnership countries and Russia. The aim of the workshops was to present best practice examples from Germany.
