Starting a Disability Entrepreneurship Expert (DISENEX) project on empowerment of persons with disability through engagement into social entrepreneurship, the project consortium kicked off the project during the virtual conference on November 5, 2020. At the end of May the first two online lectures from a series of webinars were held, organized as part of the Virtual Academy of Advanced Training in Medicine project. The lecturer, Professor Stefan Martin, is a German diabetologist, head of West German Center for Diabetes and Health (Westdeutsches Diabetes and und Gesundheitszentrum and nd Chief physician for Diabetology at the Association of Catholic Clinics in Dusseldorf.
