From 27 April to 9 May 2025, INTAMT hosted a new group of healthcare professionals from Kazakhstan as part of its long-running clinicalobservership programme in Germany. This round focused on two specialised areas:
-
Public Health and Hospital Management – held in Düsseldorf
-
Minimally Invasive Surgical Approaches to Cervical Cancer – held in Berlin
Organised as a hospital-based professional development programme, the observership combined structured visits, educational sessions, and peer exchange. Participants had the opportunity to observe clinical practice, engage in discussions with German colleagues, and attend tailored presentations and lectures.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, the public health group visited leading institutions including St. Martinus-Krankenhaus, Marien-Hospital Erftstadt, and the #universityhospital of Düsseldorf. The doctors observed surgical procedures, visited emergency departments, and explored medical logistics — including an operational helipad, which offered a close look at emergency preparedness.
In Berlin, the gynaecological track was hosted at Vivantes Neukölln Hospital. Participants observed minimally invasive surgeries and exchanged experience with senior gynaecologic oncologists.
The programme concluded with the awarding of certificates and a collegial exchange of ideas, reinforcing INTAMT’s commitment to sustainable professional development and international medical collaboration. We thank our partner clinics and colleagues in Germany for their openness, and look forward to continuing our cooperation with medical institutions in Kazakhstan.
