From April 23 to 24, 2025, Intamt, together with Prof. Stephen Martin (West German Diabetes and Health Center), participated in the international scientific and practical conference “Topical Issues of Modern Endocrinology: From Innovations to Real Clinical Practice” in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Endocrinology “Academician Y. H. Turakulov” and took place at the Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Sogd.
Prof. Martin delivered two expert lectures:
-
“Remission of Type 2 Diabetes” – an overview of the latest therapeutic approaches and long-term outcomes.
-
“Diabetes in the 21st Century: Diagnosis and Innovative Therapeutical Options” – this talk generated particularly strong interest and resulted in a lively, extended discussion on personalized treatment strategies and the use of modern technologies in diabetes care.
In addition to the keynotes, the conference offered a diverse program covering topics such as neuroendocrinology, thyroid disorders, and pediatric endocrinology. The interdisciplinary exchange with experts from Europe, Asia, and Russia provided valuable insights for the further development of clinical guidelines and research.
Intamt is proud to have contributed actively to this international dialogue and thanks the hosts in Samarkand for the excellent organization. We look forward to future collaborations and to integrating the insights gained into our projects and training programs.
