November 3rd- November 17th, 2018, Germany
From November 4th until November 17th, 2018, the INTAMT Academy organized an observation programme focused on pediatric neurosurgery for neurosurgeons from Tatarstan. It took place in two leading hospitals whose primary focus is pediatric neurosurgery in the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Germany is well-known internationally for its high-quality standards in treatment of neurological diseases in children requiring complex surgical procedures. In German neurosurgical hospitals successful outcomes are achieved as a result of surgical removal of brain and spinal cord tumours as well as operative repair of congenital and acquired deformities in children. Due to cutting-edge technology German surgeons can create computational models of an affected organ or tissue with nearly 100% accuracy and plan each step of the surgical procedure.
The participants will be able to use the information they acquired during the observation programme in their daily practice in Tatarstan, achieving better accuracy and outcomes in surgical procedures.
