The expert team of medical practitioners from Austria and Germany and INTAMT project managers accomplished a field trip to Kazakh perinatal centers in Turkestan and Taldykorgan in the framework of the World Bank funded “Development of Clinical Guidelines on healthcare delivery” healthcare optimization project in Kazakhstan. These visited hospitals in the South of the country are two of three medical institutions, where the new protocols will be piloted in the course of the further implementation of the project.

6-7 February 2020 an international conference „Modernization of obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology“ was held at the Research Institute for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology in the former capital Almaty. The two-day conference featured impulse expert speeches,  case presentations and discussions, as well as specialized workshops focused on the practical aspects of the clinical procedures and medical interventions for providing medical care to women in labour and newborns.
