From March 25 to March 29, 2019, the INTAMT Academy hold a study tour for a delegation of Moscow school teachers on the topic “The Role of Career Guidance in the German School System”. The seminar will be held in Stuttgart and the surrounding region.
Vocational guidance for schoolchildren is one of the key elements of the German school system. From primary school classes within the framework of gaming programmes (for example, in the “Houses of the Little Researcher”) children are taught to consciously approach and be aware of the development of their professional talents and at the same time unobtrusively the program instills interest in research activities in them. From the 8th grade, schoolchildren already have the opportunity to complete two-week courses of educational insight and experience of entrepreneurial professions. In order for this opportunity to be realized, the active participation of enterprises in vocational guidance programmes for pupils and the provision of opportunities for internship is necessary.
The Moscow delegation will visit leading German companies located in the Stuttgart area. During the seminar, visits to various production sites of German concerns are scheduled in order to familiarize the participants with their innovative potential, vocational education curricula and vocational guidance for schoolchildren.
