In November 2015, a seminar on “Modern Technologies in Road Construction and Maintenance in Italy” was organised for specialists from Kazakhstan. This was organised by the INTAMT Academy together with the Kazakh company KAMADA.
The programme of the one-week seminar included visits to the institutions and companies responsible for road rehabilitation and road construction in Italy. In addition, the seminar participants visited various manufacturers of road construction materials and technology as well as selected objects that are under construction or in the rehabilitation phase as a result of road use. Furthermore, bridges and tunnels were inspected. This provided the experts from Kazakhstan with comprehensive information and gave them an idea of the holistic technical cycle.
