As part of the seminar series “European Experience in Rehabilitation and Social Integration of People with Disabilities”, the INTAMT Academy organised a training on “Social Policy, Social Protection and Integration of People with Disabilities – Public-Private Partnership in the Social Field”. The extensive programme, which took place from 12 to 15 October 2015, was attended by Anna Nesterova, a high-ranking representative of the Russian Agency of Strategic Initiatives. Highlights of the programme included a visit to the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Labour, Integration and Social Affairs, a presentation of the state initiative “NRW Inklusiv” and a visit to the “Rehacare International” trade fair. A city tour on the topic of “barrier-free environment”, which was supervised in terms of content and method by Anjanah Düren, the head of the National Coordination Office Tourism for All (NatKo) and Svenja Peters from Düsseldorf Marketing und Tourismus GmbH, rounded off the study trip and conveyed practical aspects of inclusive work.
